- Can you tell us about your role at Wezesha and what excites you most about your work? As an Operations Officer, I manage and oversee daily activities, ensure compliance with company policies, and support all departments in executing operational plans. What excites me most about my work is how it directly contributes to Wezesha’s mission of empowering and connecting citizens and governments to transform public services through digital engagement platforms. Additionally, my role provides an opportunity to leverage my skills in areas of operations that I have not explored before, allowing for continuous growth and learning.
- What inspired you to join Wezesha and work in the field of digital feedback platforms? I never imagined that a simple idea, like using a feedback platform for citizens to share their responses, could significantly transformn the health sector. The vision of improving healthcare through citizen engagement inspired me deeply. Being part of an organization dedicated to enhancing citizens’ lives aligns perfectly with my values and aspirations, making Wezesha an incredibly fulfilling place to contribute my efforts.
- How do you feel your work contributes to Wezesha’s mission of empowering citizens and improving healthcare? At Wezesha, every team member works diligently to ensure the success of our mission to empower citizens and improve healthcare. My role in operations plays a crucial part in this by ensuring that all logistics and support needed by the team on the ground are in place. By facilitating the smooth execution of our initiatives, I feel that my work directly contributes to the mission and helps drive our impact forward.
- What advice would you give to someone looking to make a difference in public service or digital feedback platforms The health sector is vast, and countless opportunities exist to make an impact. At Wezesha, we focus on strengthening this sector through feedback platforms, but there are many other approaches one can take to drive change. Whether using feedback mechanisms or exploring new methods, there are still numerous areas within the health sector that require attention to ensure citizens receive better services. I believe that health is foundational—when we prioritize and invest in improving healthcare, we improve lives, as everyone deserves access to quality health services. - Who or what inspires you in your work? Our mission itself inspires me to work hard and strive for excellence in improving citizens’ lives. Knowing that my work directly contributes to the success of our organization’s mission motivates me every day. I wake up with a smile, ready to give my best. I also take great pride in being part of an organization that connects with and impacts the community directly through health initiatives.
- What do you like to do outside of work to stay energised? Outside of work, I prioritise spending quality time with my family, as they are my number one priority. I also enjoy swimming, and visiting game reserves which helps me relax and recharge while connecting with nature.
